I’ve started to love the idea of making soundtracks to love stories using noise, and only noise. No words to accompany it. No physical stories to read or watch — only noise to listen. Rather than telling stories with words, image, or video, the entirety of it is created through sound. I wanted to find a different way to craft narratives, and I thought about what songs were. They’re soundtracks to life. So, what if I started crafting soundtracks to life? Not my life, per say, but lives out there in the ether, waiting to be met. Finding different ways to tell stories is one of the most fun parts of being Armida Warrior. I’m not going to talk about what the story is about. I just want you to listen, and craft an idea of what you’re hearing for yourself. Everyone will have a different idea, and that’s the point… our imaginations creating the narrative for what we’re listening to.
