Health, whether mental or physical, is the most beautiful quality a human can possess. Both work hand-in-hand, and help create the person that you are. I might not be a qualified health professional, but through hospital stays and therapy, I’ve found simple things that work for me, both for mental health and physical health.
If our health is all we are, and what creates how we think and how we exist, then sharing these tips and tricks that I’ve developed over the years will hopefully help you as much as they’ve helped me.
We all have a human canvas, and we are each a human canvas. The body we live in is our canvas, and we have a right to learn how to take care of it, love ourselves, and give ourselves love. For the most part, we can do whatever we want to ourselves, but some of those things aren’t as healthy as they should be.
Learning how to dress in what we love, how to feel good in how we dress, how we take care of our skin, and learning the ways we love to exercise the most is essential to our bodies. Learning how to take a moment when we’re stressed, how to let out our emotions in a healthy way, and how to allow ourselves to feel without feeling overwhelmed, and how to hear ourselves and our pain is also essential, but mostly essential to our mental health. Again, both mental and physical health go hand-in-hand, and both are something we all struggle with daily.
