Sometimes, in order to break through your own mold you’ve molded for yourself, you need to take in your surroundings. When I was writing this collection, I took in what I had and where I was, and how it was an analogy for where I was going, and reflected what my life was like at the time. It can feel like you’re drowning in darkness, but sometimes you need to swim through that darkness in order to find the light at the surface. All of my pain went into these poems. It was fear of losing what I’d gained, and fear of losing everything all over again. What I love about navigating life is showing those fears who’s boss. I’m the boss of my own destiny. As you read these poems, I’d like you to read them through the lens of someone who is lost. If you’re lost, too, I hope they help you find at least a little bit of yourself.
The collection itself is of a 93-poem length spanning different ideas, troubles, issues, and lifetime woes as I tried to find who I am today.
This collection is available in an ePub and PDF here, on Armida Warrior, and over on Etsy as a zip file, containing both versions. Available to read on all eReaders, including computer reading apps, smartphones, and tablets. You can print out the PDF to read in hard copy.
