Every book is an escape from reality, at least for a little while. Turning each page until the end, and allowing ourselves into someone else’s world, can feel like the only thing that understands us. As a writer, feeling another writer’s books is something that helps me continue my own work. Turning a page, and letting words envelope the human mind can help one get out of real world pain, if only for a second. Sometimes, the most powerful books can give us a kick in the pants. Continue to turn the pages in someone else’s world in order to continue to turn the pages in your own life. Sometimes, all you need is something to relate to.
