Balsamic Poke

Sometimes, the best things are ridiculously easy. Sometimes, even the most gourmet things are ridiculously easy. Funnily enough, this recipe is something any foodie can enjoy — just as long as you have a love for fresh avocados. This may hit on the ‘as easy as avocado toast’ nerve, but it’s just as delightful. The tangy balsamic against the sweet flesh of this fruit allows for a good juxtaposition of flavor and texture. Don’t forget the olive oil, which cuts through the tanginess just enough to make it umami, tangy, and sweet. Try with truffle oil, if you can find a legitimate brand. Or, if you have extra cash, make your own!
