Stretch Bracelet Keeper

I did this one a while ago, but never thought to write it down. This afternoon, I was taking a sick day, and couldn’t stop looking at it. It’s simple to make, and was one of my first real upcycling projects. Someday, hopefully my projects will become more and more complicated, but, until then, please enjoy painting a piece of styrofoam and sliding stretch bracelets on it. This was something that would only work with stretch bracelets because it’s easy to take them on and off. All you have to do is locate the correct piece of jewelry, and then you can remove it with ease. As you can see below, there can be ware and tear, but that’s what paint is for. I hope you find this homecor recipe simple, and exactly what you needed.

Ingredients:
A piece of styrofoam, long and thick enough to wrap bracelets around
Mod Podge, about three tablespoons, divided
Chosen color of paint, enough for three coats
1-inch wide brussel paint brush
A small ramekin for paint while painting
Elastic bracelets to store
Directions:
For the first coat, add the first tablespoon of Mod Podge and the first third of the paint to the ramekin. Mix it together. Paint the two short sides and the front. Allow to dry. Paint the back and the two long sides. Allow to dry. Repeat this process as many times as you need. Normally, it takes about three coats. Stretch bracelets around bracelet keeper and store them.
