Three-Berry Juice

The simplest recipes sometimes taste the best. I’ve been training myself in making juices, or at least trying to. It started out with water infusions: water with cucumber, water with apple slices and cinnamon sticks. Then, it turned into me realizing that you don’t quite need a juicer to make juice. All you need is some fruit and some water… and maybe a blender. I started experimenting, and this is one of those recipes that was stupidly simple to make, and all it takes are some berries, honey as a sweetener, and water. The texture is smooth, but if you want to make it smoother, you can add the extra step of straining it through a sieve. I don’t. I don’t think it needs it. But, there really is something satisfying about making juice. I hope you find it as easy, as simple, and as fun as I do!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup blackberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/4 cup raw & unfiltered honey
2 1/2 cups water
Directions:
Slice and hull the strawberries until you have the required amount of strawberries. Make sure you slice them into wheels. Not any other shape. Plop them in your blender. Plop in the blackberries and raspberries instead. Squeeze in about a quarter cup of honey. Splash in the required water. Close the blender. Holding the lid on, just in case, start at the weakest setting, then get stronger and stronger until at the strongest setting, then gradually lower the settings until you turn off your blender. This should take about two to three minutes total, coming up and down between power settings. Store in a lidded pitcher. Consume within two to three days.
Serving Suggestions:
Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, coddled eggs, scrambled eggs.
