The Sick Day

Sometimes, making yourself a cocktail when you’re sick is the best medicine. As long as you drink it slow enough, and don’t overdo it, you won’t get drunk and it won’t end in a hangover. Instead, you might find yourself understanding why, for hundreds of years, alcohol was seen as a cure for the common illness instead of a major instigator. As someone who was going in and out of having said common illness, known as a ‘cold’, I wanted to experience a cocktail at home. When I made this one, I was taking care of my father’s dog, and my dad’s house has always been the main place where I’ve made mixology. This time was no different, and is definitely one of those cocktails that takes a lover of gin, such as myself, to be enjoyed. I hope you love this recipe and drink it whenever you like, not just when you’re blowing green out your nose.
