The Sweet Bruise

This is similar to another cocktail recipe released here on Armida Warrior, ‘The Apple Embryo’. It has a similar idea, and is perfect for winter. In this recipe, however, we utilize a mixture of rye and wine, allowing for bruised apple to lend its juice to the drink, and topped with apple whose flavor will combine with it as it’s sipped. Together, in a pretty coupe glass, your nighttime sipper can help warm your insides in front of a warm fire. If you don’t have a warm fire to cozy up in front of, grab a fluffy blanket and a book, and cozy up on your sofa. Allow yourself to sip slowly, and truly enjoy the drink on a blustery winter’s evening. I hope you love this cocktail as much as I enjoyed developing it.
